The BCBSM Retiree Association was formed by company representatives and a group of retirees in the early 1980’s to provide an avenue for keeping in touch with other retirees and promote active and involved seniors by sponsoring entertaining and educational events. Retirees, and other former employees, who are at least 50 years of age with at least 5 years of service are eligible to join the Association.
There are no initiation fees or dues. Events are held almost every month and include activities like luncheons, plays, concerts, tours, sporting events and an annual golf outing to name a few. You will also receive newsletters to share information and the reports/pictures of our events. An annual business meeting is held, usually in October, to conduct Association business and elect officers for the coming year.
