An outing on February 19, 2015 to the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Detroit Branch Visitor Center included a guided tour, a discussion of the Federal Reserve System and a direct view into their cash department, which disburses currency to area banks. Sixty attendees, who had to show government issued photo IDs, enjoyed the afternoon activities, as well as a lunch that included salad, chicken, steamed vegetables, and potatoes with cheesecake for dessert.
