The 27th annual Snowbird Luncheon was held on April 13, 2016 in The Villages, Florida at Lake Sumpter Landing Redsauce Restaurant. Seven retirees and their guests were in attendance and enjoyed the scenic view, as well as the food. The restaurant specializes in Italian cooking and the term ‘redsauce’ is a nod to those eateries, known as ‘redsauce joints’, who featured Italian food throughout many Italian-American neighborhoods in days gone by.
